ESSENTIAL

Essential was created for Opera Ballet Vlaanderen's Choreolab 2020. The solo performer could be you. You, as the character, are torn between thinking out loud what might be important for an artist to express, and the non-verbal space that you actually strive to be in when observing a work of art. Rather than captured by thoughts, you give over to wordless experience.
